These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the website unitedbeauty.org (the “Website”) and any purchases made through it. The Website is operated by ALISMIA LLC, a company organized under the laws of the State of Florida, USA (“we,” “us,” “our”), which organizes the United Beauty Award 2026 (the “Award”). By using the Website, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.
1. Relationship to the Official Regulations
Participation in the Award — including eligibility, applications, judging, results, award statuses, and the Gala Event — is governed by the Official Regulations. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Official Regulations with respect to the competition, the Official Regulations prevail.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, submit an application, or make a purchase on the Website.
3. Accounts
You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering and to keep access to your account and email secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Registration Fees
A registration fee is charged for each individual competition application. Current fees are displayed on the Website and at checkout before payment. The registration fee covers registration, administrative processing, and organizational support of the application; it does not constitute payment for any award, placement, or recognition, and does not influence judging in any way.
Registration fees are non-refundable, except in the limited cases set out in Section 8 of the Official Regulations (cancellation of the season by the Organizer, a confirmed duplicate payment, or impossibility of review through the fault of UBA). Initiating a chargeback after access to the application form has been granted is treated as a withdrawal of the relevant application (Official Regulations, Clause 8.8).
5. Gala Event Tickets
Attendance at the United Beauty Award 2026 Gala Event requires a separate ticket. Ticket types, prices, and any promotional prices (including Early Bird pricing and its validity period) are displayed on the Website at the time of purchase. Tickets are issued for the named holder and are not transferable unless we state otherwise.
All ticket sales are final, and tickets are non-refundable. In particular, no refund is issued if you do not attend the event, if your plans change, or if the price of the ticket type you purchased is later reduced. The only exception: if the Gala Event is cancelled by the Organizer and not rescheduled, the ticket price will be refunded to the original payment method; any such refund may be reduced by non-recoverable third-party payment-processing fees, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If the Gala Event is postponed, or its date, venue, or format is changed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, your ticket remains valid for the rescheduled or modified event, and no refund is issued (Official Regulations, Section 20). Purchasing a ticket does not imply or disclose any competition result.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details. Applicable taxes, bank fees, and currency-conversion charges, if any, are borne by the payer. Where a refund is granted under these Terms or the Official Regulations, it may be issued net of non-recoverable third-party payment-processing fees, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
All Website content — including text, design, graphics, logos, and the United Beauty Award name and marks — belongs to ALISMIA LLC or its licensors and may not be used without prior written permission. Rights in materials submitted with competition applications are addressed in Section 19 of the Official Regulations.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Website, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, scraping content, submitting unlawful material, or impersonating others.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Website or any purchase is limited to the amounts you paid to us for the relevant purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections.
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Broward County, Florida, USA, unless mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence provide otherwise.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the Website after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
