This Privacy Policy describes how ALISMIA LLC, which operates the United Beauty Award project (“United Beauty Award”, “we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of users of unitedbeauty.org and related services.

2. Who this Policy applies to
This Policy applies to website visitors, registered users, competition participants, jury applicants and jury members, ticket buyers, newsletter subscribers, partners, and any other individuals interacting with United Beauty Award.
3. What data we collect
• 3.1. Website visitors: IP address, device type, browser, pages viewed, technical analytics.
• 3.2. Account users: email, profile, applications, tickets. Sign-in is performed via a one-time code sent to email.
• 3.3. Competition participants: contact details, professional information, nomination details, competition materials.
• 3.4. Jury applicants and members: bio, specialization, photos, portfolio, certificates and awards.
• 3.5. Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card data.
• 3.6. Newsletter subscribers: email and subscription preferences.
• 3.7. Support requests.
• 3.8. Competition materials and professional profiles: photos, videos, work descriptions, portfolios, qualification documents, and photographs of participants and jury.
4. How we use data
To register users, operate the website, organize the competition, conduct judging, review jury applications, publish results, process payments, communicate with users, send newsletters (which you may unsubscribe from at any time), ensure security and comply with the law.
5. Legal bases for processing
User consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests, and legal requirements.
6. Publication of content
• 6.1. United Beauty Award may publish the names of participants and jury members, professional profiles, photographs, competition works, competition results, and the status of finalists, prize-winners and winners.
• 6.2. During events, photo, video and audio recording may take place, and the resulting materials may be used for informational and marketing purposes.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. United Beauty Award does not store full payment card data.
8. Sharing and disclosure of data
We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with service providers, Stripe, jury members, the organizing committee, and government authorities in cases provided for by law.
9. International data transfers
Personal data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Participants’ materials may be provided to the international jury solely for the purpose of judging.
Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland to a country that does not provide an equivalent level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, or as required by law. As a guide: account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards; unsuccessful jury applications are kept for up to 12 months; competition materials and information about winners may be kept in the project archive; marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 13).
11. Security
We use secure servers, HTTPS, access restrictions, secure databases, and Stripe for payment processing. However, no method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the competent authorities and affected users as required by applicable law (for example, within 72 hours under the GDPR).
12. Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies for website functionality, analytics, security and saving preferences. Non-essential cookies can be managed through the consent banner or your browser settings.
13. User rights
Users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or withdrawal of consent, and have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Requests should be sent to office@unitedbeauty.org.
14. Minors
The website and services are intended for individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that data has been provided by a minor, we will delete it.
15. Third-party links
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
16. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
