How this works

We answer every application within five working days, whether the answer is yes or no. If a proposal works better as a brand feature, we send the media kit with the terms instead of a refusal.

Editorial pages are free for the person featured. Paid placement is always marked as partner content, and it has no bearing on the assessment of entries, the distribution of places or any decision of the United Beauty Award jury — judging in the craft nominations is blind, and judges never see the names of participants.

What happens next. If your material is taken, we send the questions and the technical requirements for photographs within a few days. Finished text and images are due by December 10, the layout comes back to you for approval, and the issue is published on December 18 together with the Season II results broadcast.

Where the issue goes

The issue is read in full on unitedbeauty.org, sent as a PDF to anyone who asks for it, and presented at the award ceremony. Everyone featured receives their own pages as ready-made images for social media, so the issue keeps travelling long after it is published.
